Clarified Concepts’ Train-the-Trainer series includes workshops for three types of trainers:

- The Exceptional Trainer for trainers looking to hone their skills and expand their repertoire;
- The Accidental Trainer for those with limited experience; and,
- The On-the-Spot Trainer for subject matter experts or hands-on trainers.
Each provides a multi-layered approach from understanding the dynamics of adult adaptive learning, to designing compelling and “sticky” content, and mastering core concepts of training delivery.

This workshop is for the employee who delivers training regularly and wants to become an exceptional trainer. For trainers who have limited experience in course delivery, or experienced trainers wanting to maximize their training delivery and student success. Learn what it takes to make training stick; practice by designing and delivering a training segment.

On-The Spot Trainer (1 Day)
Workshop Goals
This workshop is for employees who are subject matter experts, managers called upon for reporting purposes, or employees that are unaccustomed to, or uncomfortable presenting. These employees may be asked to share their expertise but have had no formal training in instructional or presentation delivery. In this workshop they will learn about adult learners, effective presentation design and delivery, and diplomacy and assertiveness techniques in dealing with participants.

Day three includes more practice time creating and delivering training, and:
- Designing useful training materials or presentations

- Training Tips and Techniques
Outcomes – participants will be able to:

- Incorporate adult learning principles in your training.
- Select a topic and develop learning objectives and a training outline to include several adult-learner-friendly exercises or activities
- Deliver a 5-minute brain-friendly lesson.
Who Should Go
A workshop for employees who are beginning trainers, or who are subject matter experts not routinely asked to train others. Ideal for non-trainers or trainers who’ve had no formal training in adult learning theory or instructional techniques.
