As the former Director of Education for USA TODAY, Jan’s role was to manage the design, development and implementation of unique educational products and online resources. Her team’s instructional products were used in over 8,000 schools on a daily basis.
She also spearheaded major collaborative partner projects from original concept through implementation, with partners such as: NASA, Samsung, AT&T, Texas Instruments, McGraw-Hill, Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Reserve, Marriott, the Kauffman Foundation, and the Air Force Association. Each had unique needs and expectations with the opportunity to work with USA TODAY Education to develop and grow their educational programs.
Jan was a trainer for 15 years with the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital training over 7,500 Girl Scout leaders at all levels, and helped the Council develop and design training materials.
